Americans do not agree on much but one thing is for certain, none of us believe that politicians should represent corporations over their constituents. In fact, even though 94% of Americans believe that politicians prioritize big corporations over our interests, the vast majority of candidates continue to raise millions of dollars from corporate PACs.

They’ve refused to hear us so it is time to make them listen.

Today, we are launching The Donor Strike, a nationwide campaign to get grassroots donors to commit to never give a dollar to a candidate that accepts corporate money.

Because if a candidate takes corporate money they should not get ours.

The idea is simple: if you organize 1,000 voters in a congressional district, a candidate won’t even bat an eye. If you organize 1,000 donors in their district, now that’s a different story altogether.
