And then there were two more.
Colorado showed up last night.
Melat Kiros and Manny Rutinel both took the Political Integrity Pledge and will be headed to the general election in November. Melat beat a 30-year incumbent who got an F on the Integrity Index and Manny will face freshman Rep. Gabe Evans who gets a D+.
Come January 2027 we will have a whole new cohort of members of Congress that:
Reject corporate PAC money
Support a stock trading ban and hold no individual stocks
Support a five-year lobbying ban
Support overturning Citizens United
The movement we are building cannot be underestimated.
Lets make sure the corporate politicians get the message.
